Zoe Lynn Patrick, staff writer

Some of you might know that Carole Baskin is on Dancing With the Stars. If you don’t, well then, Carole Baskin is on Dancing with the Stars. Some people might think it’s bad or dumb that she is on it but I think it is funny. She’s definitely not the best dancer but she brings up the views. If you haven’t watched it and don’t want any spoilers then stop reading.

Last night was week three of Dancing with the Stars. It was Disney night and Carole Baskin and her partner Pasha Pashkov danced to the Lion King. Their score was 12 out of 30 and they were at the bottom of the leaderboard. Week two they danced to the song “What’s New Pussycat?” and scored again another 12 out of 30 and were at the bottom the the leaderboard. Week 1 she and her partner danced to “Eye of the Tiger” and again got a score of 12 out of 30, putting them at the bottom of the leader board.

If you aren’t familiar with Carol Baskin’s background then I got you. Carole Baskin is an American big-cat rights activist and CEO of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator Joe Exotic.

In the documentary Carole had a husband and in 1997 her husband went missing. A lot of people believe that Carole killed her husband and fed him to the tiger. What does this have to do with Dancing with the Stars? Well, I’m glad you asked. Well at the end of the show in week one there was a strange commercial. It was all of Carole Baskins ex-husbands, sisters, and an assistant talking about him. They were saying that they want justice for their brother who went missing in 1997. They said if anyone had any information about him to call them and whoever found him would get a reward of $100,000. You can watch the commercial above.
