The Vagus Nerve

The Vagus Nerve, is a tenth cranium nerve or CN X, and has somewhat parasympathetic control over the heart, lungs, and digestive tract. But too much pressure can result in sudden lowering in blood pressure and heart rate. If the Vagus Nerve is overactive, it can lead to the heart not being able to pump enough blood through the whole body, causing you to faint, or even die.
