Exactly 1 year and two days from today Kobe Bryant died in a deadly helicopter crash and the whole world stopped. He and his daughter Gigi were both killed in the crash and they were on their way to basketball practice for his daughter because Kobe wanted to be a coach after he retired and that’s what he did. Kobe Bryant was known as one of if not the best basketball players of all time. He was mostly known for being number 24 on the Los Angeles Lakers as a shooting guard and he was so good at the sport that everyone else in the NBA respected his love for the sport. Kobe even had a nickname called black mamba which symbolized snakes that were associated with great wisdom and a sharp mind and that is who people saw him as on the basketball court. He broke so many records during his career–he was known for scoring 33,643 points, 8,378 free throws, and 4,010 turnovers and all three were records for his position. He also broke the record for the most NBA All-Star Game starts which was almost 20 times. He held 24 NBA records and that is why he is known as one of the best basketball players in the NBA.
