Eminem’s new song “Walk On Water” is a reflective song with him rapping while Beyonce’s beautiful chorus gives a bit of a more soft yet powerful twist to it. The two artists’ talent makes this song amazing and pure, and I say pure because it has no lies but just truth to Eminem’s insecurities while Beyonce’s voice adds to its purity.

In the first verse of Eminem’s part he raps “why are my expectations so high? Is it the bar I set? My arms I stretch, but I can’t reach” mentioning how he is always struggling with his fans’ expectations, and how people’s harsh judgments just add more to his insecurities. Because of people’s opinions of him not being as good as his other peers he is worried that after 20 years of rapping people will start to lose interest (these are referring to the other verses in the song). Essentially, it’s a great song depicting Eminem’s thoughts and insecurities, the verses sounding raw and with deep reflective emotion.
