On March 30, 1971, Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl, and Gordon Bowker founded Starbucks. Starbucks is a multinational chain of coffeehouses headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Starbucks is the world’s largest coffeehouse chain. As of 2021 the company had 33,833 stores in 80 countries, 15,444 of which were located in the United States. In 2021 alone Starbucks made around $29.06 billion. Starbucks carries coffee beverages hot and cold, smoothies, tea, baked goods, and sandwiches.
