I’ve recently had the chance to rewatch this fairly “old” movie. Even though it’s slightly outdated, the movie itself is still amazing. For those who have never heard of the movie, “The Call” is about a 911 operator trying to help a teen girl survive an abduction after failing to help a previous girl. All of the ideas the operator has are very clever and well thought out in trying to help out the teen. Meanwhile, the kidnapper is creepy and compelling, especially towards the last ten minutes of the movie. Despite the movie being made in the early 2010’s, the storyline is very grounded and realistic.
