Film Review: The Wind that Shakes the Barley

The Wind that Shakes the Barley is a film directed by Ken Loach. Its a gritty historical drama about the Irish rebellion in the 1920’s-30’s. It follows two brothers who end up caught in the revolution against the British. This film raises a lot of questions about revolution, morals, family, and more. The acting was all extremely well done, and the movie handles a slower pace very well without being too boring. This film is a must watch for anybody interested in history or film.
