Jessie Lemonier, a defensive end player who also played for NFL’s Los Angeles, just announced on the 26th of January that he has died at the age of 25. No cause of death was announced nor given.

The Lions have posted and responded on Twitter, “We are shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of former Detroit Lion Jessie Lemonier.”

Lemonier first was drafted in the NFL in 2020, and signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as an undrafted free agent. After six games, he then signed with the Lions in 2021.
