With summer quickly approaching, it is time to take more precautions regarding our skin. Although the sun is our primary source of Vitamin D and has many great qualities, such as reducing stress, the sun’s UV (ultraviolet) rays can be seriously damaging to our sensitive skin. Whether you are fair or dark-skinned, it is always smart to apply sunscreen (with SPF of at least 15) a couple minutes before entering the sun’s exposure. Being unprotected in the sun for too long can lead to severe sunburn, blistering, and in the worst cases, skin cancer.  The easiest and most stress-free way to keep your skin healthy is to stay hydrated and pile up on sunscreen before you leave your cave.
