As the first semester is nearing its last few months, it is imperative for students to remain on task and not be enticed by slacking. Seniors especially, it is important for the twelfth graders to not catch senioritis, since not passing a class can result in not graduation. Senioritis is a term that often refers to when seniors have had enough of school and dream of it ending, and as a result, the grades of the students who have caught this “disease” may fall, due to the lackluster effort given. As a senior myself, I feel that I have started to catch senioritis, since I have noticed myself slacking off most days of the week, but however, it is also my duty to maintain my grades. I feel that in order for me to fight the “disease” with full strength, and to neglect all temptation to procrastinate, would be to have a more of a reasoning to complete my assignments. Though, I am sure that senioritis will blow over once I have had my one week off school for Thanksgiving, I hope that no other senior will give in to the “disease.”
