Being a varsity cheerleader at Elsinore High, as well as having 8 years experience of competitive All Star cheer under my belt, I have learned the importance and the dedication that comes with a successful team in the world of cheer. We athletes work hard for what we have and we constantly push our limits and challenge ourselves to be better than we were yesterday.

According to the LEUSD athletics department, cheer is considered an athletic CIF sport, in terms of the competition and STUNT programs that branch out of our traditional sideline teams. Not only do we spread school spirit and proudly represent ourselves as Elsinore Tigers, we strive to dominate our division in STUNT and competitive cheer.

Cheerleaders condition on a daily basis, especially during our practices. We continue to progress in strength and power to improve ourselves in the skills required for most cheer divisions, including tumbling, stunting, and jumps. While some might lift weights, cheerleaders lift people! Stop the discrimination. Cheerleaders work too hard to not be fully recognized as the CIF athletes we truly are.
