Even though it’s late in the year it’s still great to talk about ways you can get involved in your school here at EHS. Not only do I take part as a Tiger Times Editor, but I am also a member of the FFA program here. Most people know this program as Future Farmers of America, but that part was dropped and now it’s just FFA. I got involved with this program in sophomore year and I regret not joining my freshman year. FFA teaches you how to handle and care for multiple different animals. For example, just to name a few, chickens, ducks, donkeys, horses, goats, dogs, cats, geckos, birds, bunnies and I’m sure there are one or two in missing. FFA has many great opportunities packed inside, such as career pathways and much more. If you haven’t taken an Agricultural class yet, such as Agriculture Biology or Veterinary Science 1, I suggest taking one. I can guarantee you will not regret it.
