Inter vs Barcelona Review

This game ended 1-2 Barca. We rotated for this game as we had nothing to play for. We were already at the top of the group and even if we lost we would’ve been the group winner. This game we played all our young players and tried a new formation. The players who really shined in this game were defender Jean Clair Todibo, and our midfielder, Carles Alena. This was their first game of the season as well. Todibo was stopping all the attackers and he played out of defense. Instead of panicking and clearing it right away, he dribbled away from the players and looked for a pass. That’s what led to our first goal. He moved the ball up, passed it and another young player, Carles Perez, finished it. Alena was controlling the midfield. He got the ball and moved the ball up into dangerous positions. Our second goal made history. It was a good passing play between Suarez and Fati. Fati scored his first ever goal in the champions league and he became the youngest ever goal scorer in the champions league. He was 17 years and 40 days old. This was also the first game for Neto, our back up goalie. He did very well with great saves. We didn’t play well as to be expected, because it was all our young players, but we’re happy to get the win and knock them out of the champions league.
