Elsinore cheer has been notorious for hosting very successful clinics for our future Tiger cheerleaders. Every sports season, cheer gets the pleasure to mentor over 90-100 young aspiring cheerleaders ranging from the grades of pre K-8th grade. Both boys and girls are welcome, given the fact Elsinore has been a coed team for three years now. Especially to those middle schoolers who wish to pursue cheer at a high school level, the cheer clinics are a fantastic way to learn more about the program and showcase your skills in stunting, tumbling, jumps, and sideline appearance. If you missed the football clinic in the fall, come sign up for the basketball clinic on January 29th and on the 31st.

From 4-6PM on the 29th, our Tiger cubs will be learning five simple basketball cheers, practice cheer motions, play cheer-related games and will be taught an 8-count routine to perform at halftime. On the 31st at 6PM, our Tiger cubs will be cheering in the stands with the Elsinore cheerleaders during a basketball game. They will be chanting the cheers learned prior to the game and will perform the 8-count routine at halftime. Registration will be available on the EHS website under athletics>athletic teams>cheer>register. Also remember that clinic/game entry is $20 (which also includes a cheer bow per child).

Every season, EHS cheer has been applauded by many parents over for our patience, nurturing, and knowledge to make a positive impact on the lives of their children. All of the cheerleaders adore the young Tiger cubs that always have smiles brightly displayed on their faces and are always eager to learn new things in the world of high school cheer. It truly is heartwarming to be seen as a hero of some sort to a large group of children with big dreams. The fact that the kids are having fun makes the duty of being a Tiger cheerleader so much more enjoyable.
