The Life of Orphans
February 21, 2020
Being an orphan is a hard thing because many are left at an orphanage because they just can’t be taken care of. The worst part of being an orphan is not being able to be raised by a mom and dad and knowing that your own parents don’t want you or couldn’t care for you. You can be an orphan as long as you are underage and can get adopted or an aunt or even grandparents want to adopt you. Not all orphans are given up; some might go because their parents have passed away or even because they’re drug addicts and need to have there kids taken away. The life of an orphan is not all fun and games because as humans we need to be able to experience love that our family normally provides. These kids even have trouble finding their own new family. Many dislike it and have bad attitudes and are not used to being loved. Orphans are affected emotionally in a big way and that’s why it’s harder to adopt an older kid who already knows what goes on in the world. Although orphanages are extinct in the U.S we still have a system known as foster care to be able to adopt kids. If you ever want to help orphans you can always help in other states or even adopt to make a kid feel loved and happy.
