Ford v. Ferrari Not Completely Accurate

In reality, Ford v. Ferrari was not completely true. Like Hollywood always has, they cut parts from the original story for dramatic effect.  First, spoilers, but the dead heat at the end of the movie was not originally suggested by the executives but by Carrol Shelby because the other GT40 drivers were having a hard time with the tires they used. Another inaccurate point in the end was that Ken Miles, whom the movie is partly based on, was in the front of the dead heat which was not true because Bruce McLaren actually pulled ahead at the end even though he would have won either way.
