In celebration of club rush next week and the new table top gaming club, I come to ask: what counts as a gamer? Most think you need to have a one thousand dollar PC to be a true gamer, but, like, what does that even mean? What the heck is a true gamer? Is there a false gamer? And if there is then are they just people that say they like to play games and don’t. I don’t get it. There are only people who play games and don’t play games. and the people that play games are called gamers. but what is a gamer? Most think of video games but there is more to it. People who play board games and card games are gamers, people who play sports though are not gamers, they are players. Players do more of the physical side of games while gamers are more sit down at a table and do the game.
