Magic: the Gathering, the oldest trading card game, first started in 1993. The producers for the cards are “Wizards of the Coast” and the person who made the card game is Richard Garfield. If “Wizards of the Coast” sounds familiar, they are the same company that make and produce Dungeons and Dragons. So why do I bring this up, it’s just my favorite table top game, and the 50 million other players might agree. Magic has been, for the longest time, the most popular trading card game since it was created, only being dethroned a couple of times by “Pokemon” in 2016 and 2021, only as of last year Magic has been dethroned again by Yu-Gi-Oh. Although, Magic did have a massive controversy with its Magic 30th year anniversary and the AI art panic, but I believe it will recover from these by the end of this year.
