Hi guys!If you’re bored and have nothing to do, why not spontaneously hang out with a friend? Maybe bake or cook something yummy to warm your bellies! Cooking with a friend makes it easy and faster to cook and also makes the food taste 10 times better!!! Well that’s exactly what I did on a random Tuesday and believe me it was absolutely delicious. I hope you guys try this recipe out, it’s a really easy and straightforward meal if you already have experience with cooking. Though even if you don’t have experience it should be easy just don’t overthink it!☺️ (Don’t mind the bad picture I had to take a screenshot from a video lol)
Me and my friend made some mouth watering baked chicken, mashed potatoes, and asparagus! If you want to make it too here’s a step by step recipe just for you:
Chicken:
1-preheat your oven too 425
2-THOROUGHLY clean your chicken, cut off the white bits, and dry you chicken
4- put in a bag with a little oil and HEAVILY season your chicken (I used 8 different seasonings but you can do whatever you want)
5- shake the bag (make sure its all over and under your chicken)
6-get a sufficient baking tray and spray the bottom of it with oil before putting in your chicken
7-cut up a white onion into chucks and place them around/over the chicken along with small pieces of butter
8-cover the pan with foil and let bake for 1 hour and 20 mins (makes sure the chicken is fully cooked)
9-take off the foil and let bake for another 5-10 mins or until the skin is crispy
Mashed potatoes:
1-peel your potatoes
2-cut into small chunks
3-wash your potatoes
4-place them in a sufficient pot and add water
5-put pot of potatoes on the stove to boil on high (once you can mash them with a fork you know they’re done)
6-strain potatoes
7-put potatoes in a big bowl or the same pot
8-add a spoonful of butter and mash the potatoes with a masher
9-add milk or heavy whipping cream until creamy and use an electric mixer to mix it easily
10- finally season them to your liking;)
Asparagus:
1-cut ends of asparagus and throw them away
2-wash your cut asparagus
3-get a sufficient pan and coat the bottom of the pan in butter
4-put in your washed asparagus
5-add a ridiculous amount of minced garlic
6-add juice from a lemon(optional)
7-season with salt and pepper
8-let simmer on medium until the texture is to your liking (the longer it cooks the softer and less crunchy it gets)
