Most people don’t think much about friendships as an important factor in our lives, but friendships can have multiple benefits and impacts in a person’s daily life. Having good friends would help you increase your sense of well being. They also could boost your happiness and reduce stress. When you feel down, friends are there to talk to and comfort you and to support you. Most friends could also help you boost your self- confidence such as giving compliments which helps with self-love.
When you find a good group of friends you enjoy being around they make life much easier and much more fun. Friendship is all about spreading love and honestly and showing you care. A strong friendship is about being kind and the actions you show are important, like showing you are a good listener when talking and paying close attention. Opening up about yourself or about personal information shows you truly have trust towards that person. Making yourself available to experience new activities together and making unforgettable memories is important to have a better and stronger friendship.
We all want a friendship that does not feel like we have to be someone we’re not. We want to be comfortable with each other, talking about any topic, make unforgettable memories, be there around the hard times and good times, and support each other no matter what. Never take a friendship as a competition and more as a team. A friend does not judge you even if you were in the wrong; instead they tell you what you did wrong for you to better yourself. Or they are someone who is trustworthy and willing to tell you the truth, even when it’s hard for you to hear. That’s what I call being a good friend.
