Yesterday was the water polo team’s first game, which resulted in a devastating loss with a score of 3-13 against Temecula Valley. The opposing team gave JV a hard time during the match with their good defense so most of the players were unable to score. During the 3rd period of the game our players were starting to get tired and defense started to get worse. After the game I interviewed one of the players, Evan Carter, and here was his response to my question, “What do you think you could’ve done better during the game?”
Evan: “I think I could’ve swam faster and worked on my defense against number 2 and 3, they gave me the most trouble, I’ll try and do better next game.”
