In the 2024 summer Olympics in France, the men’s USA national team came out as winners for the gold medal against the French national team and their young star Victor Wembanyama. At the beginning of the Olympics the USA national team played 5 games in different locations around the world against other countries. They would end up winning all 5 games and showing their dominance against the other countries. The remaining 6 games would all be played in the host country France. The USA men’s national team would continue displaying their dominance against the other 5 countries as they went into the final game undefeated. In the final they faced the hosts country’s national team. After what seemed like a back and forth game, the USA men’s national team would come out victorious. After winning the final and claiming their gold medal it marked the USAs fifth straight gold medal for the men’s national basketball team. They exited the 2024 Summer Olympics undefeated.
