Have you ever seen the fantastic stop motion movie Coraline? Halloween is coming up and it’s around the time for scary movies! If you want to watch a spine chilling movie for Halloween, you should definitely watch it. Coraline is about a girl with blue hair that is forced to move to a different town away from her old childhood friends. It takes place in the Pink Palace, a cute but creepy mansion with strange stories to be untold, and even stranger neighbors. As the house gets situated, Coraline decides to look around outside first, when she meets a guy named Wybie. Then a while after she goes back to the mansion and looks around, she then finds a hidden door. Coraline then bugs her mom for the key; little does she know she is opening a portal into another dimension with the other mother. Stepping foot in that door was a big mistake because she saw a sight that would disturb her for life. It was her own mother and father, but they were different; they had buttons in their eyes. The story then takes a dark turn as the other mother asks Coraline to stay and sew buttons in her eyes. Going back and forth from each world affects Coraline a lot, and she doesn’t know how to handle it. Coraline then decides she has to close the door, which wouldn’t be a easy task because the other mother wouldn’t allow it. The story gets more on edge as it continues, as the other world is starting to become a problem but Coraline ends up resolving it by having to win a game with the other mother. To figure out the whole movie, you should watch it yourself; there is a lot of hidden details along the movie which is great to see and experience yourself.
