I feel that education should be free. Whether it’s a four-year university or a small private school one wishes to attend, it should be free. Many students are unable to attend schools they wish to due to high tuition fees. If someone takes a loan out and attends a good university, they will be stuck paying dept as they get older, and some people never finish paying.
I do think that there should be fees for certain things at school, for example food in the dining halls or  staying in a dorm, but the education and classes should be free of charge. There are many schools that do not have high tuition fees and many attend, but they are not receiving the education that they should be able to receive. Getting accepted into a good four-year university is a great accomplishment and it takes a lot of hard work throughout high school, but if someone has worked very hard and committed to school all four years, they should be able to attend free of charge as long as they meet the university’s requirements and are accepted.
Aside from students not meeting the school’s requirements, the second reason students aren’t able to attend their dream schools is because of money. Due to less funding from the states, schools have increased their tuition fees tremendously and students are the ones who have to pay. There is money available for funding but it isn’t being used for the right reasons. If education is not able to be free, tuition fees should still be lowered to a more reasonable price because it would not affect the school.
