Seeing your childhood dog get old brings so many emotions. Princess is my dog I’ve had since I was 5 years old, I am now 17. Seeing her bump into the walls because she can’t see anything is very sad, and she hardly eats and stays in one place sleeping all day. It reminds me how much things can change in such little time because we never noticed her getting old since she was always was so energized and loved to play. Knowing she’s close to passing makes us all think about how she’s been through so much and she’s seen us all grow. It’s going to feel very different not seeing a little white dog walking everywhere around the house when she’s no longer with us.
