The history of DND starts in 1974. It was created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson and published by Gygax’s company, Tactical Studies Rules (TSR). DND was bought by Wizards of the Coast in 1997 and the game’s soaring popularity led to DND themed miniature figurines, books, television shows, and movies including Honor among Thieves. There are multiple editions of DND, the most current being the 5th edition. DND is played by millions of people from players to DMs. The worlds and adventures that you can have or create is the main reason why so many play.
