Esports player Tenz, or Tyson Van Ngo, recently announced his retirement from playing professional VALORANT. It’s shocking the entire community right now to see such an influential player leave the pro roster; it’s only been six months since he won VCT Masters Madrid 2024, as well as his team placing in the VCT Champions Seoul finals, so it’s safe to say his reputation and career has only been showing promise until now. However, the streamer did express his aspirations to branch his career further into content creation, and traveling for tournament has been keeping him from pursuing that. He also stated his desire to spend more time developing his personal life outside of esports. While it’s incredibly shocking for many avid VALORANT fanatics to see such an iconic player step down from his position in real time, I know many of us wish him luck in his career’s new era.
