If you don’t know what to do when you’re older why not try and be a blood splatter analyst? Who knows maybe you can be the next Dexter! The profession may require a lot of hard work and time but I guarantee it’ll be worth it!
A blood splatter analyst works mainly with police and sometimes the courts because they have to testify. They are responsible for figuring out the actions that took place to create the blood splatter. You can find out a lot from the blood splatter even though you wouldn’t think so. For example, whose blood it is, what type of blood it is, what chemicals are mixed in the blood, etc. The direction/angle of the blood splatter can also tell you how the crime took place. Sometimes an analyst will use ultraviolet light to see the hidden chemicals/properties mixed in the blood. They will also recreate the blood splatter themselves in a lab to accurately figure out how the splatter came to be. However it’s not all fun and eventful, there’s a lot of boring paper and lab work to be done too. It’s even more tiresome getting through the steps to be a blood splatter analyst. First, earn a degree in natural science; second, earn an advanced degree (master’s degree); third, get certifications; and fourth, complete on-the-job training. Once you do these 4 hard steps you too will be a blood splatter analyst! I know it may seem pointless and exhausting at first but you’ll be set for life if you choose to pursue this career. The lowest yearly starting salary for this job is $94,475 and the highest is $157,000. You’ll be able to live comfortably and have an interesting job where you’ll never be bored! It’s a win win!!!!
