Halloween as you grow up doesn’t seem as exciting, especially after being quarantined and not even being allowed to trick-or-treat. That year was a big change for most of us and with it came with less excitement for holidays/vacations. In my neighborhood there is at least 5-6 houses with decorations and when I drive around it seems like that’s the same for most neighborhoods. Most people don’t dress up either. I understand growing up means you don’t have to participate in these things but I don’t know it’s just kind of sad to see. As a kid Halloween was always my favorite and I would be so excited for it; now it just feels like your average day. It’s sad seeing that over the years the holidays aren’t being taken as seriously. When I grow up I’m going to make sure I decorate for each one.
