Tangled is a movie produced by Walt Disney and was released in 2010.

The film follows Rapunzel, a girl with “magical hair that glows when she sings,” as she explores the world after fleeing from her tower. Throughout the movie, Rapunzel develops new relationships and sees the world from a different perspective for the first time in her life.

The Disney movie has been adapted from the Grimm Brothers’ original fairy tales, which was set in Germany in the early 1800s.

This is one of my favorite movies because of the message of the fairy tale. The animation is also beautiful, along with the design. I also love the songs. ₊˚⊹

The character of Rapunzel was very progressive for the time the movie came out, with having the main character focused on fulfilling her own life and goals. She was expressive, brave, and determined, which are all great qualities for young girls to see in a main character. The plot was centered on Rapunzel, as she found her own way in life, and chased after the ideal that she has always wanted.

Tangled is my comfort movie ₊˚⊹ and I hope to see it adapted into a more modern film, like other Disney princess films.
