Last weekend me and my family went to Knott’s Scary Farm and it was super fun!!!
We didn’t arrive until 8pm and we were coming in more than 1 car from different places so it took like 30 minutes to all meet up. Once we did we immediately went to the first maze we could find. It was pretty scary because it was dark and they had people jump at you from corners with scary makeup and costumes on. So just imagine that every corner you turn you get scared! So fun! Next, half of my cousins stayed in a really long line for a ride so me and my other cousins went and got food. I got some carne asada fries that were nasty but I still ate them cause I wasn’t wasting $15 bucks. Then we also got slushies and churros. Eating all this then going on a ride that swings side to side very hard was probably not the best idea but I was fine after I got off the ride. After that we wanted to go on a rollercoaster so we stood in line like good citizens (we skipped half the line) for an hour. The rollercoaster was wack and didn’t even have a drop, it was honestly pretty boring. My memory after this is a little hazy but I think we went in like 3 more mazes. All the mazes had different themes like one was dollhouse, another was clowns, etc. They were all super scary though, so in all the mazes me and my cousins were practically glued to each other. Also as you’re just walking in the street to go to other rides or get food workers in costumes and steel shoes will get in your face and scare you. Their shoes were the scariest part because they made ominous clanking sounds every time they walked and the workers could even make sparks fly from their shoes by dragging them on the floor. Now let’s say it’s midnight, yes 12am, and we’re still going. We went on another ride and through another maze but then it hit 1 am and 5 (including me) out of the 20 people I came with decided to just sit down cause we were tired while the others still went on rides. I don’t know how but my 4 cousins ALL fell asleep, leaving me to watch them while I tried not to fall asleep myself. Some guys walked past us and was laughing that we were asleep, haters…anyways. After that we eventually met back up with everyone to leave which was unreasonably hard because everyone’s phone was about to die but we got it done. We didn’t leave out the gate until 2am, said our goodbyes, then walked 30 minutes to the car. So really we didn’t leave until 2:30 in the morning and didn’t get home until 3:30. Overall the night was a 10/10, I had so much fun and I would definitely recommend going there!
