When I say “secondary market” I’m talking about the large market of trading cards. When secondary market is thrown around it is in terms of a price placed onto something by players, not the company that produces the product. The secondary market I know the most is for my favorite card game, Magic: The Gathering. Like most of anything, Magic’s secondary market is completely powered by the economic idea of supply and demand, also how old the card is in some cases. Same thing applies for almost every other trading card game. In some situations a secondary market could apply to video game, like World of Warcraft.
