Luigi Nicholas Mangione, December 4th, Wednesday morning, allegedly murdered the CEO of United Healthcare, Brian Thompson, around 6:44a.
Mangione arrives to New York in November 24, by Greyhound bus. He then takes a taxi to a New York Hostel at 891 Amsterdam Avenue, where he stays until the morning where he kills Thompson.
He left Wednesday morning for a water at a Starbucks. An hour later, he meets Thompson, who was walking down the sidewalk, ready to go to an investor conference and shoots him with a 9mm pistol. It is also said that the gun used was a ghost gun (a firearm without a serial number).
Days after fleeing the scene, Mangione made an appearance in a local McDonald’s near Altoona, Pennsylvania, about 230 miles (or about 370 kilometers) west of New York city. He got arrested, and is currently in custody for the actions he made.
