Alex Pereira is a Mixed Martial Arts fighter who has transitioned from kickboxing where he was a Light-Heavyweight winner in PRIDE. He went to the UFC in Nov 6, 2021 vs. Andreas Michailidis. The fight ended in the beginning of round 2 with a flying knee by the former PRIDE champion to knockout the challenger. This fight and the fashion it ended in gave Pereira a ticket to more fights and bigger exposure. His next fight against Bruno Silva, which was a complete dismantling of Silva, with 165 strikes and 108 significant strikes in a 3 round fight.
