Nonetheless he would fight 4 months later for the light heavy weight belt which would create conversation over his legitimacy in the title shot, but this conundrum is for another day. He would fight Jiri Prochazka, and they would have a good first round but would end with a KO by Alex Pereira to win his second belt becoming 9th ever double champ. He would win against Jamahal Hill in one round via KO and then again winning via KO against Jiri Prochazka. Then win a war against Khalil Rountree via TKO in the fourth round. Right now Alex Pereira is likely to fight against Carlos Ulberg. Alex Pereira is in contention for GOAT status as he has had a four in a row world championships wins and is likely to go up to fight Tom Aspinal as Jon Jones is likely to not fight Tom and retire. But there is still the chance for Alex to fight Jones or Aspinal and if not both. Alex Periera right now is the face of the UFC.
