The United States government is trying to help the youth and future Americans by getting rid of negative output towards them. They say that there’s so protection for younger than allowed kids being on the app and no protection for kids to see content no appropriate for minors. The government also does not want China’s influence on American minors because they believe TikTok is somehow controlled by China’s communist party. So for the safety of Americans and ones to come they have put a ban on TikTok affective January 19, 2025.
