Choi Seung-hyun (aka T.O.P.) is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. He performed as an underground rapper before joining the record label YG Entertainment and debuted as the lead rapper of the boy band Big Bang in 2006. But then he was convicted of marijuana use in 2017, which led to a surge of anti fans among South Koreans. Then in 2023 T.O.P. left the boy band due to feeling guilty for what he has done. Then he left the spot light for almost 10 years. He came back to the spot light in 2024 for one of the popular shows on Netflix called Squid Game, where he played player 230 (Thanos). But he was not allowed to do any interviews with the cast of Squid Game due to all of the hate T.O.P. was receiving from his incident back 2006. But besides all of that he will all ways be one of my favorite singers and actors.
