Yong Jun-hyung of Highlight and Choi Jong-hoon of F.T. Island resigned from their positions after allegations they were participants in the chatrooms. Lee Sung-Hyun has said that he had a fellow police member named Kang help cover up any damage that was doon in the club. On August 12, Seungri was sentenced to a three-year prison term, a fine of 1.15 billion won (US$990,000) and immediate detention.
