I love jewelry which is weird because I actually hated it when I was younger. Every time my mom tried to put any on me I immediately took it off but now it’s like I’m naked without it. I went through a lot of jewelry phases from beaded to silver to gold. At one point I even tried making my own jewelry but that didn’t last long, lol. Now I’m a gold girly through and through. I love the way it looks on my dark skin–it makes me pop if you know what I mean;). My favorites of my jewelry are my necklaces. I never ever take them off. The butterfly one is a permanent necklace I got one random day when I was 16 so I can literally never take it off. My nana’s nickname for me and my mom is “butterfly” so that’s why I chose a butterfly, as a way to stay close to my mom and nana (no they’re not dead lol). The heart one my grandma got me for Christmas about 2 years ago. I love it and it has a REAL diamond in the middle. This is probably the most expensive gift I’ve ever got so of course I cherish it deeply. Plus I know it makes my grandma happy to see I never take it off. I truly do love my necklaces and expect them to still be around my neck in my grave.
