One of President Trump’s first orders as president was to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. The decision was controversial as people didn’t understand why this was so important to do. People thought this was wrong since the Gulf of Mexico has been the name for years and there was not really any probable cause for this change.
