What is Littlest Pet Shop?
Littlest Pet Shop is a toy line produced by Hasbro in the early 1990s, and as of now the line has 7 generations spanning from 1992 to 2024. The toys are collectible figurines with the total amount of different pets being over 3,000.
In 2013, Hasbro created a television series based on the toy line which aired for two years. Eventually, the series was canceled after Hasbro saw a decline in toy sales.
I have a collection of 16 LPS that I have kept since playing with them as a child. Recently, there has been an online resurgence of the toy line, and many collectors are promoting the brand. With its newfound internet popularity, I hope many more children will be able to have these in their childhoods.
