The pope Francis has been hospitalized for almost a week now and is in critical condition. He has now developed an ”asthmatic respiratory crisis” earlier on Sunday. This morning Pope Francis presented with an asthmatic respiratory crisis of prolonged magnitude, which also required the application of oxygen at high flows. He has now gone through a blood transfusion this day to treat anemia. The pope’s condition is looking more positive this week as he is responding well to the treatment for pneumonia on Thursday. He will undergo therapy but with time he should be functioning at his usual speed again.
