On January 24th, 2025, I turned 18. As a kid I always was excited to be older and turn 18, but the days leading up to me turning 18, I was scared. I felt that I had to change everything about me and around me, all my interests, hobbies, and everything I just enjoyed were too “childish.” Although I did have to change somethings I realize that I was being too harsh. I’m obviously still young and have so much life ahead of me and I’m still working on enjoying it.
