Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding. It consists of a plain piece of paper creased and folded into place without the use of glue or scissors.
Recently, I have started giving a go at it, finding children’s origami tutorials online (which is super easy to do!). And successfully doing so! I have made a cat ring (several actually), a bunny finger puppet, and a skull that bites!
Origami is not for the weak or impatient. I struggled greatly despite the videos being extremely slow. My paper simply didn’t fold as the woman’s did! But trial and error, no one is ever perfect at doing anything after their first attempt!
I started off with this kind lady who goes -1000000 miles per hour named Yandana Crafts. She points and has several guidelines in her videos, and she is extremely helpful!
Start off with the easier ones, like the cat ring and fish! Happy folding!
