Mental health is something widely overlooked, but talked about by masses. There’s awareness and programs to help when a person is faced with mental challenges, but a fail when it comes to peers or people that are supposed to be supporting. It’s a big problem when people you think should be the most caring or understanding, blow everything you tell them about your mental health out of the window, or even at times make you feel worse for it. When talking about mental health, it’s always mentioned how to help, but never truly talked about in depth. It takes a level of maturity, and a decision to hold less ignorance in your mind to even acknowledge another’s cry for help, but I think it is something that should be talked about more on a deeper level.
