The Minecraft movie was a success with a box office grossing over 162 million domestically, not only marking the the biggest opening weekend this year, but also is the biggest opening ever for a video game based movie. Despite all of the movie’s success I personally don’t think the movie was all that. I went to the movies with my family last Thursday to see it, but it really wasn’t all that–the movie lacks a real plot and builds off not so funny dialogue.
