Lalaloopsy: Sew Magical! Sew Cute!
Lalaloopsy, originally named ‘Bitty Buttons’, were created in 2010 as a doll line to replicate plastic rag dolls. The doll line was marketed by having mini webisodes under the same name and numerous movies and spin-off episodes which introduced new characters.
There are about 180 existing characters in the Lalaloopsy universe. Each species of Lalaloopsy are known to be in 9 categories: the main Lala’s, littles, lala-oopsies, babies, ponies, lalaloopsy girls, workshop dolls, pet pals, and newborns.
From the main line, there are 8 original dolls: Pillow Featherbed, Crumbs Sugar Cookie, Mittens Fluff ‘N’ Stuff, Peanut Big Top, Spot Spatter Splash, Jewel Sparkles, Dot Starlight, and Bea-Spells a Lot.
Recently there has been a resurgence in popularity of 2010 doll lines and toys such as Lalaloopsy and LPS. My fave character as a kid was Jewel Sparkles. ⊹₊⟡⋆
