Traveling to other places in the world is probably more beneficial than you think. Travel reduces stress by lowering cortisol levels due to the change of scenery and a break from your routine, whether that be work or school. Also, exploring new cultures gives you a better perspective on life by allowing you to be more open-minded and more willing to try new things. Traveling can give someone a personal goal by overcoming the fear of trying new things because some people are more comfortable with familiar things in their lives without knowing the opportunities that the world can bring if they just try something new, like going to a new place. In addition, connections and relationships can strengthen by visiting your loved ones, going on a trip with your family or friends, or meeting someone new. The steps leading up to a trip can be difficult like the money aspect but once you’re at the place you traveled to you’ll realize it was all worth it because money returns and time doesn’t.

Ciao! I am Sophia Romaniello. I’m currently a sophomore. I’m on the varsity track and field team and junior varsity volleyball team at Elsinore High School.
