Since Pope Francis’ death they have been deciding on who next will become pope. Surprisingly enough who would have thought the next pope would be an American, the first ever American pope, may I add. His name is Robert Francis Prevost and he was born in Chicago. He moved to Peru back in in 1985 then returned back to the US in 1999. After that he stayed and didn’t move back to Peru until 2014 after Pope Francis mad him apostolic administrator of the diocese of Chiclayo. The following year, he was named bishop of the city.
