On March 8th, 9th, and 10th, the Elsinore Dance Team performed A Night to Remember.
And boy did it live up to its name.
On March 8th at 6pm, the first final show of the year began. With 44 dances in the span of 2 1/2 hours, the Dance team performed beautifully, and had many laughs with fan-favorites Adrian and Edgar on stage.
March 9th was Senior Fusion’s special night, where the seniors on Elsinore Dance’s Fusion team gave their farewells, and had solos, and a final group Dance together. Mrs. Mariah gave out a speech for each of her seniors, thanking them for everything, and shedding many tears.
But they never went unloved throughout the night, and it ended with a bang.
March 10th at 5pm, the final show of the year began. This would be the last time I’d show up to all three nights, supporting my senior friends, and cheering them on as best as I could.
After speeches, and when the senior solos began, I burst into tears at the sight of Wren. A friend of twelve years, a constant in my life, someone who I’d seen go through so much, who had seen me go through much the same.. I was very proud of Wren, and wailed like a baby throughout her dance.
I failed to see through the rest of the dancer’s dances, because I was blinded with my tears.
I’m very proud to have seen these wonderful people grow throughout the last 3 years, and I retire my title as the #1DanceTeam fan effective immediately.
Congratulations EHS Dance! A wonderful show til the end!
